Are you looking for relaxing resorts in Punta Cana? Have you been looking at several reviews and no resort seems to be good enough for you? Yeah, I get it, I have a really hard time deciding these things as well. You’re going to spend a lot of your time at your resort, so it better be worth every penny!

I’ll list some of the resorts that I recommend (and why) so that you can stop going through the infinite list of options! These five resorts in Punta Cana will scream “relaxation” all around!

1: The Reserve At Paradisus Palma Real

Were you planning to visit Bavaro Beach? Well, this might just be the best option for you. It has a beautiful view with an excellent location overlooking the beach, and there is no comfort they’ll spare when you stay there! If Bavaro Beach is the one you love the most, then this is without a doubt the one you have to choose.

Breakfast, a gym, and even private beach access; many more features like this await! Also, as a bonus, you can speak to their staff in Spanish, English, Italian, French, German, and Portuguese. No matter where you’re from, there should be no problems getting your point across! It goes to show how much they care about their clients.

2: Melia Caribe Beach Resort

When you think of relaxing resorts in Punta Cana, you usually think of elegance and opulence. The best of the very best. Most of the resorts on this list will be great, no doubt, but no other will make you feel as important and distinguished as Melia Caribe.

Somehow it manages to be both classic and modern. Go figure!  You won’t have to choose whether you want to enjoy the sandy, sunny beach or go to fine dining. This resort takes care of both needs at the same time! But even if it’s more visually stunning, it doesn’t forget to be cozy and warm – perfect for resting after a full night of social activities. Although The Reserve at Paradisus is an amazing choice for those visiting Bavaro Beach, this one is a great choice as well!

3: Occidental Caribe

Maybe you don’t like large crowds, or maybe you like hidden gems. In that case, Occidental Caribe will sweep you off your feet by offering you excellent service, and the beautiful Arena Gorda Beach! Perhaps you don’t like the atmosphere around the beach, which I understand, so why don’t give their pool a try instead?

Or perhaps you were craving some Italian food, in which case you have the Crappicio Mare and Ciao restaurants very close by. All in all, Occidental Caribe doesn’t neglect your needs and comfort while offering something new. The Occidental Caribe will give you an older Caribbean feel that is so beautiful and unique.

4: Sensatori Resort

Have you ever been to Uvero Alto Beach? Were you thinking about it? Good! Because if so, Sensatori is a great option for you. A polished resort with practically no flaws: the structures are modern and beautiful, making you feel important and relaxed, while the staff is friendly and attentive. You won’t be treated better anywhere else! There won’t be any luxury spared during your stay, and the beach is but a few feet away from you at any moment’s notice. Would you even want to leave your room? Entirely up to you, but strongly encouraged, so you can see the bar they have to offer as well!

5: Dreams Punta Cana Resort and Spa

Maybe this one doesn’t boast the same impressive, massive buildings the others do, but it sure makes up for it with an immense pool that you’ll be hard pressed to see anywhere else! No matter where you go at the resort, there’s always a stretch of the pool to swim through. This is great fun for kids, and adults can enjoy their time at the casino as well! But what about the rooms? Well I wouldn’t be recommending this one to you if they were anything but excellent. And of course, access to Uvero Alto is guaranteed when you’re staying here!
